Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Lutterworth

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Reporting to: head Chef / Sous Chef

We have an exciting opportunity for you. Our client in Lutterworth is currently expanding their team and have a requirement for a Chef De Partie to work with a highly respected hotel and restaurant.

Responsible for:

Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef and Trainees within the section

Hours: 40 hrs 5 days out of 7

Main responsibilities:

To prepare food to a consistently high quality in line with menu specifications

To suggest daily specials incorporating seasonal ingredients

To input into the writing of menus for all food outlets with regular reviews

To assist with the training and development of all department staff

To Liaise with Sous Chef/s to ensure exceptional service levels are consistently delivered to guest

To Accept and check deliveries from agreed suppliers to ensure that they are to the specification required

Other responsibilities:

To ensure all equipment is maintained in a clean working condition

To report faulty equipment

To input into the compilation of work within the agreed budget

To maintain hygiene standards in areas of responsibility

To Monitor stock levels and order using the correct procedures

To Control and manage an agreed budget maximising yield at every opportunity

Training responsibilities:

Support other departments training as required and where appropriate

Provide opportunities for personal and team development

Emergency responsibilities:

Fire evacuation procedures, statutory obligations in line with company procedures
