Data Analyst

Our client, a leading 3PL logistics and supply chain is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis with a an opportunity of a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a full time role and is site based working a 40 hour week. The Data Analyst will be required to extract data from various sources, inc Microsoft ACCESS and EXCEL, collating and presenting the data in various formats. Provide contract wide data analysis and interrogation leading to root cause and a conscience s to ensure associated action plans for improvement are put in place and adhered to.

Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours: Mon-Fri flexi between 6.00am – 6.00pm
Weekly hours: 40 hours per week
Pay rate: £12.00 per hour

Duties of the Data Analyst – Focus will be be on performance and productivity measurements around:
* Turnaround times
* Stock booking in times
* When items are put into stock
* Productivity around picking rates and speed
* And the same for dispatch related measurements
* Root cause analysis
* Producing reports

Data Analyst skills
* Advanced level Excel user with a background in Ms Access
* Able to provide in depth data interrogation
* Someone who understands data and will flag if data looks incorrect and not just report on it regardless
* Someone with good communication
* Able to produce complex reports
* Proven experience in a similar role

BPSS checks will be required – The successful candidate will need to be happy to undertake the check and be a British passport holder with no convictions
