Job Title: Logistics Assistant

Salary: £20,000 – £22000

Location: Coalville, Leicester-shire

Hours: 40 Hours per week 9am – 5pm with a paid 1 hour lunch break

Logistics Assistant overview:

A fantastic opportunity has come available to work within a premium medical equipment manufacturer. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate that has great attention to detail, numerical skills and is reliable. The successful candidate will be based in the UK office and will be assisting in the stock revival and dispatch of products while also assisting the customer service team with post sale service queries.

Logistics Assistant Key responsibilities

  • Stock monitoring
  • Receiving stock
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch
  • Scan and upload paperwork to the system
  • Keep shipping and tracking up to date

Skills required for the successful Logistics Assistant

  • Strong numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Positive and approachable manner
  • Team player
  • Ability to work under pressure

Role includes:

50% – Logistics Assistant

To oversee dispatches, stock receipt in/out, data input and system management.

  • Receiving stock
  • Stock monitoring
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch
  • Raise shipping paperwork
  • Scan and upload paperwork to system
  • Keep shipping tracker up to date

50% – Customer Service

To take calls/respond to emails, for the Technical Support Manager and log on the system for technical action.

  • Answer and log ‘post sale’ customer service calls
  • Monitor and log incoming ‘post sale’ customer service emails
  • Communicate and take direction from Technical Support Manager, whilst they are off-site
  • Use of CRM system with reporting – full training given
