Plant Fitter – Keighley – Competitive Salary
Regional Recruitment Services are currently on the lookout for a Plant Fitter for a fantastic company who specialise in equipment rental. This is a full-time and permanent position, and will be reporting to the depot manager. Salary will be generous and reflect relevant qualifications, training and experience.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 5.00 pm. Overtime may be required. This position may also include occasional weekend work.
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days – includes 8 bank holidays pro- rata
Plant must be maintained in a safe and satisfactory condition to ensure it operates effectively and efficiently, this position will be to assist with the smooth running of the workshop and maintain plant equipment to an acceptable high standard. Maintenance and servicing of plant, machinery, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics as required will also be needed.
Other duties within this role will include;
*To ensure preventative maintenance, repair work, overhauls and installations as appropriate is carried out as per instructions from Depot Manager.
*Fault find mechanical and basic electrical faults and repair equipment in breakdown situation.
*To ensure parts and equipment availability prior to commencement of any maintenance or repair work being carried out.
*To anticipate, report or repair any Service equipment requiring remedial work that may affect the continuity of Plant operations.
*To complete accurate records for all work completed using Service and Inspection schedules.
*To identify and maintain quantity and functionality of tools and equipment as instructed by the Depot Manager.
*To ensure issued Personal Protection Equipment is always maintained in a safe and hygienic condition and used throughout the course of your related duties.
*To fully comply with Company Quality Safety & Health & Safety policy and processes related to your position.
*To carry out such further tasks and duties as may from time to time be delegated by your Depot Manager.
*To fully comply with Terms & Conditions established for this position.
