Project Manager/All Rounder – Nottingham – Up To £35,000 per annum

Due to our continued success and growth we are recruiting for a Project Manager.

Our client are a local family run construction company, supplying mainly the domestic market sector, but have ambitions to progress into the commercial market. You may already own a small business, or feel you are ready to step up to management, even be in site management and want the next level to director, if so we want to talk to you.

As a tradesman you will have a discipline you can bring to the company, such as Bricklaying, plasterer or electrician not limited, but most important you will have a can do attitude, with an thirst for doing the job right, great attention to detail and command respect on site to get the most out of the employed and self employed trades. You will be able to work within tight time-scales and deliver on budget, always looking to reduce costs and snagging, you will be our eyes and ears on site, the first port of call for the customer, labour and suppliers.

As the lead guy on site you will be expected to continually report progress, issues and planning on a weekly basis as required by the business owners, however, as a trusted member of the team you will have full autonomy and control to ensure the project is delivered on time and in budget.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills and experience:
* Domestic Extensions, including steel work
* Site set up and marking out
* MUST be able to work from drawings without supervision.
* Domestic refurbishments
* A good understanding of the commercial market would be advantageous
* You will have in hand a list of subcontractors you can call upon
* Awareness of health and safety issues and ensure they are adhered to
* Being able to follow verbal and written instructions
* Command the best from those around you
* Be positive with a lets get this done attitude
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

This role is for someone who really wants to be part of the future and work hard to help the company achieve this, in return you will be offered
 Basic salary £28000 -£35000 (Monthly)
 % Bonus per project delivered on time and in budget
