Payroll and Credit Control, Process Manager

Karolina joined the RRS team back in June 2010, having already gained previous recruitment industry experience. Throughout these last eight years, the wide range of payroll and finance based skills that she has gained, allows Karolina to head up an exceptional back office team, who look after our flexible workers and clients.

We asked Karolina, what makes a successful payroll and credit control function, and she had this insight for us:

” A smooth running financial process is critical to any business. This function requires those that can maintain high levels of concentration for long periods of time. Working in payroll requires a keen eye for detail, staying diligent to spot any errors, whilst also having strong relationship building skills.

Throughout my 8 year tenure with Regional Recruitment we have remained adaptive to changing legislations and procedures, therefore flexibility and forward thinking in terms of planning is of the upmost importance.

Managing time and organisation needs to flow through the department. Deadlines are critical and these are met by efficient processes, constructed by senior members of the department. In our case this would be myself and CEO – Zaka Ullah. ”
